Description of Activities:
IF Hope implemented an alternative livelihood project by establishment of Orchards for Afghan returnees and their host communities: The project Established 200 jeribs fruit and nut orchards in Nangarhar and Kunar Provinces focusing on farmers with a farm size of less than one jerib in communities with a significant returnee population. The project also provided training to 400 farmers in orchard management. IF Hope technical team provided ongoing technical assistance to the community throughout the project cycle.
